United, we seek and find those in need, providing practical support and fellowship in a spirit of justice, while tackling the causes of poverty.Visiting People Visiting is at the centre of what we do. The essence of our work is person-to-person contact and spending time with people, giving them a sense of belonging, is our greatest gift. We call this befriending. Community Support Projects includes our St Vincent's community shops, furniture stores, support centres, supported accommodation and our contract with the Home Office to manage and run two local Approved Premises. SVP members are also involved with holiday camps and the running of local soup runs and food banks.
